Climate Change

The rise in global temperatures has led to increased risks of climate-related disasters, droughts, loss of biodiversity and threats to food security. Through species conservation programmes, connecting stakeholders, empowering communities and operating across multiple protected areas and buffer zones, the project seeks to strengthen the resilience of wildcat landscapes using a landscape conservation approach.

Additionally, the project shall enhance the resilience of the extremely vulnerable populations, such as women and marginalised communities, in the coastal regions to climate change or related extreme events, while reducing GHG emissions through sustainable forest management.
